The US Water Radial Flow Carbon Cartridge is a uniquely designed granular activated (GAC) carbon cartridge with an outside poly shell and an inner core which holds the GAC Media firmly in place. It is designed for high flow rates and low pressure drops with little to no carbon fines in the water. Now that it is made in America, it contains vastly more carbon. Previously, our Radial Flow Carbon Filters weighed 3.8 pounds. Our new Made in America Radial Flow Carbon Filters now weigh 6.2 pounds.
