REVERSE OSMOSIS AND RE-MINERALIZATION SYSTEM FOR COFFEE SHOPS WHO SIMPLY WANT THE BEST FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS
Reverse Osmosis is unquestionably the best way to remove the widest spectrum of contaminants from the water, including chlorine, chloramines, chemicals and things that make the coffee taste bitter or just plain "funny." However, the reverse osmosis process also removes most of the minerals, and many coffee experts believe that water should contain some minerals so as to not "over extract" bitterness from the coffee. The re-mineralization filter does just that and you can dial in the PRECISE level of TDS you want with the blending valve. While we are not coffee experts (we leave that to you), we are water experts and with our US Water Coffee Shop Reverse Osmosis System we can remove the undesirable contaminants while providing mineralized water for optimum brewing efficiency.
Seven (7) Stage Treatment Process
Stage 1 - Catalytic Carbon Tank Removes Chlorine And Chloramine (8" d x 35" h)
Stage 2 - 5 Micron Sediment Pre-Filter
Stage 3 - Carbon Block Filter
Stage 4 - 300 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane
Stage 5 - Remineralization Cartridge
Stage 6 - Storage Tank - Choose Size (40 and 80 Gallon)
It is recommended that the system be fed with water that is below 5 gpg of hardness. If your water is above that, you should use an Anti-Scalant or water softener. The blending valve and electronic monitor allows you to “dial” in the exact degree of hardness you want. The catalytic carbon tank is a key component to this system as it removes both chloramine and chlorine. It is virtually impossible to remove significant amounts of chloramine with just a cartridge. This system is Built in the USA.
