US WATER ELECTRO-ABSORPTIVE NANOFIBER FILTER WITH POWDERED ACTIVATED CARBON AND AGION SILVER
This is truly disruptive technology in that it uses electro-adhesion to remove sub-micron particles. The US Water Interceptor Pre-Filter has a 5 micron outer filter layer (which can be washed off if sediment accumulated). Inside the filter has another layer of pleated material manufactured of Nano Alumina Fibers that have a Zeta potential of 51 millivolts. Many contaminants are actually "magnetically" removed from the water supply and "secured" in the “Charged Filter”. Additionally, the filter media is infused with powdered activated carbon which has an immense potential to remove chemical contaminants.

AGION SILVER PROTECTED
Prevents bacterial growth on the surface of the filter. Agion Silver is used in hospitals and medical application where it is critical to prevent bacterial growth. Agion Silver minimizes the impact of destructive bacteria, mold, mildew and other microorganisms. Silver is a naturally occurring element that has been proven safe and effective in fighting a wide range of microbes. It is environmentally friendly with no toxic side effects on people, animals or plants.
The Disruptor media is manufactured from a naturally occurring element called boehmite, which has no known Health Side Effects. In fact, boehmite has long been used as an additive to food products and digestive analgesics. Additionally, it has passed testing for NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 61 for potable water and USP Class VI testing and endotoxin testing.
- Powdered Activated Carbon With Agion Silver
- System conforms to NSF/ANSI 61 Certified by WQA
- Low pressure drop - typically < 3 PSID (clean)
- Turbidity < 3 NTU
- pH 5-9.5
- Iron < .3 ppm
- Manganese < .05 ppm
This systems performance is dependent upon incoming water quality and factors such as iron, sulfur, manganese, sediment and other particulates need to be addressed ahead of the Pulsar Disruptor Pre-Filter. Life expectancy of the filter varies with the water supply, but many users experience filter change intervals in excess of a year when coupled with proper pre-treatment
