You have these filter capacities listed in ppm, which I'm assuming is total referring to the total amount of fluoride that can be removed. Is that related to a gallon amount? For example, this 4.5x20 filter is listed as removing 4665ppm of fluoride. Does that equate to one gallon of water with 4665ppm or in my case about 8500 gallons of .55ppm water? Just trying to get the appropriate sized filters for my application. Thanks.
Yes, that is exactly what it means. Just understand that the slower it flows, the better the removal.
How long does the filter last?
It depends upon how much fluoride is in the water, but usually 3-5 years.
Will this filter also remove chlorine?
To some degree yes, but chlorine removal is recommended before this filter.
