Test Parameters: *550 TDS Filtered (5 Micron), De-Chlorinated, Municipal Feed Water, 100 psi (6.89 bar) Operating Pressure, 77 Degrees F (25 Degrees C), Recovery as stated, 7.0 pH. Data taken after 60 minutes of operation. Scale prevention measures must be taken to prolong membrane life.

Low temperatures and high feed water TDS levels will significantly affect system’s production capabilities. Performance projections should be run for individual applications which do not meet or exceed minimum and maximum operating limits.

Product FAQs

Product FAQs

  • I have a well that produces plenty of water however, it has a high iron content. The water stains all my fixture with a red residue. Will your filter work and how can I test my water to see if it works? I had experience with reverse osmosis filter during the first gulf war. we obtained water from the ocean to supply our water needs. Also what is the monthly operating cost other than electricity?

Reverse Osmosis for desalination of sea water is dramatically different than using a reverse osmosis system like the above one.  The RO system referred to above would be for a coffee shop or some other application.  It will make up to 600 GPD IF IT RUNS 24 HOURS A DAY!  That would kill it very quickly.  If you have high iron and do not oxidize first, you may plug the RO system up in a week! This is not a system to take out iron and stains.  What system do you need?  There is no way to know without a water analysis, like this one:  https://www.uswatersystems.com/us-water-lab-water-test.html

Once we know exactly what is in the water, we can tell you EXACTLY how to fix it.

  • What should the precharge pressure be in the holding tank for the 600 GPD system

    7-8 psi

  • Will this filter consistently bring the tap water pbb of 15 down to levels below 5 pbb? Thanks!
An RO system will reject a percentage of the total dissolved solids (TDS). It typically rejects 90+% of the feed water contaminants. When using ppb as the unit, the rejection could be nominal. It really depends on the contaminant being removed and the other contaminants in the water.
