2.5" x 10" US Water Limeblaster Replacement Cartridge

The Limeblaster Foodservice Replacement Cartridge prevents scale formation in any water using appliance, water heating device or downstream equipment, to improve efficiency and prolong the life.

The Limeblaster media prevents scale by transforming dissolved hardness minerals into harmless, inactive microscopic crystal particles. These crystals stay suspended in the water and are passed to drain. The filters require no maintenance, no backwashing and no salt. Typical hardness problems, especially build-up of scale in heating elements, pipes, water heaters, boilers and on fixtures are no longer a concern. In fact, it also helps dissolve existing scale.

This filter cartridge will work in standard filter housings.

Cartridge typically lasts 6 months.

  • Hello there! Can you explain how exactly does this "limeblaster" filter cartridge work? In other words, what does it actually do, what kind of chemical reaction happens with the minerals dissolved in the water? Thanks,Mike.

The Pulsar Limeblaster system uses a unique and patented dosing system which adds a small amount siliphos (a food grade material) to the water, effectively "sealing" Calcium and Magnesium from sticking to any surface or pipes.  It simply makes the limescale unable to stick to anything, so it just passes through.
