Is the US Water Systems Matrixx Commercial Water Softener, a Residential or Commercial Water Softener? In truth, it’s both. Each Valve will flow up to 37 gpm.
This system is ideal for custom homes, estate homes, restaurants, small car washes, restaurants, small manufacturing applications, and a variety of other commercial applications.
Light Commercial Applications or Estate Homes
- This water softener is for when a 1” flow system is too small, but you really don't need a “full-blown” commercial water softener
- The 1.25” softener flows up to 35 GPM peak flow (18 GPM continuous flow)
- If higher flow rates are needed, you can simply upsize to the 1.5” model Matrixx Bluetooth Water Softener System
- The Matrixx Bluetooth saves money over any Fleck, Clack or any other system with more features and better performance.

The US Water Systems Matrixx Commercial Water Softener comes in one model: A 16” x 65” Tank with 4/cu/ft of resin and a 1.25" valve. We find it somewhat humorous that some competitors sell a 1.25” valve with a 12” x 52” tank. That holds 2 cu/ft of resin and 2 cu/ft of resin will only flow 20 GPM… no matter what! Each cu/ft of resin will flow 10 GPM, so we use a 4 cu/ft tank so that we can achieve the 35 GPM maximum flow rate.
The US Water Systems Matrixx Commercial Water Softener is programmed with your Smartphone. You don't have to use the dinosaur buttons.
