The old-fashioned way to medicate in poultry operations was to use something like a Chemilizer©, AquaBlend©, Dosamatic©, Dosatron© or some other in-line device which was water powered and not really very accurate. Now, you can precisely inject medication at a 1:128 Ratio – ALL THE TIME with the Revolutionary Stennicator. The Stennicator is a compact, proportional pump for livestock operations requiring a dosage ratio of 1:128. It functions as a medicator and dispenses iodine, acids, chlorine , electrolytes and more. Solids from poor water quality are not a problem with the pump; it can inject directly into the water line without reduced water flow to the drinker lines.
The pump accepts a signal from a dry contact water meter at a rate of 1 or 10 ppg or 1 ppl. One pump can be utilized for 1:128 injection for water flow up to 2.7 gallons per minute (162 gallons per hour). A second Stennicator can be added to keep up with flow rates up to 5.4 gallons per minute (325 gallons per hour). The Stennicator has a signal splitter that can repeat the incoming signal to the another Stennicator, controller or other device. When utilizing a house controller, the standby setting stops the pump from injecting while continuing to send the water meter's pulse output to the controller.
The Stennicator is rated for indoor and outdoor use and features a totally enclosed brushless motor. Stenner's peristaltic metering pumps are self-priming, do not lose prime or vapor lock and can run dry. The tube replacement is almost effortless with a sliding cover that latches. The Stennicator System is a pump and non-voltage water meter mounted on a heavy duty panel to can hang on the wall. The dual system includes one 3/4" or 1" water meter and two Stennicators for higher outputs.
