Applications for Eliminating Rotten Egg Smell:
Oxidation: Normal procedure for oxidizing a water supply and removing the rotten egg smell is usually specified by the chemical feed pump manufacturer or supplier and depends on water conditions. There are many types, designs and methods of introducing hydrogen peroxide to the water supply. A normal method is to inject directly into the water line with the use of a chemical feed pump. Dosage rates will vary. If unsure consult owner's manual.
Dosage: Proper dosage rates will vary depending on application. For oxidation of impurities, feed OxiPro 7 until there are very few oxygen bubbles in treated water.

OxiPro 7 Proven to Consistently Hold Strength at Elevated Temperatures Compared to Hydrogen Peroxide 7%
Aug 4, 2011
With nearly 23 million homes in the United States using well water as their primary drinking water source, the potential for unsatisfactory water due to odors, discoloration, and/or corrosion or scaling caused by bacteria and contaminants is of a large magnitude. However, these problems are not limited to well water; there may also be a need to condition municipal water using the same point-of-use/point-of entry treatment method.
US Water put OxiPro 7 to the test against hydrogen peroxide 7% at an independent 3rd party laboratory in a controlled environment and the results are astonishing. Initial active hydrogen peroxide readings before testing were: OxiPro 7 – 7.19%; Hydrogen Peroxide 7% - 7.27%.
At 72°F after 8 weeks:
- OxiPro 7 measured 7.07% active hydrogen peroxide
- Hydrogen Peroxide 7% measured 5.83% active hydrogen peroxide
At 100°F after 8 weeks:
- OxiPro 7 measured 7.11% active hydrogen peroxide
- Hydrogen Peroxide 7% measured 3.37% active hydrogen peroxide
While the results are shocking, the reasoning is relatively simple. OxiPro 7 contains proprietary stabilizers that prevent gassing and loss of efficacy. This is why at two months after manufacturing (when you likely receive the product) hydrogen peroxide 7% is only 3% active while US Water OxiPro 7 remains at full efficacy. There is no need to speculate your dosage and you can feel safe using a product you trust.

Easily added to Hydrogen Peroxide tank, just pour in and there is no need to dilute it as it is at the correct concentration. Shipping was free and I'll do business with them for my refills.Comment
Use it in the water system I purchased from US Water.Comment
I would recommend family and friendsComment
Easy internet shopping, good prices, very fast shipping. Also like the 2.5 gallon bottles as opposed to the 1 gallon I get locally.Comment
I use this in the Kinetico water treatment system, in the sulfur guard unit. I can buy online for much less than from TLC Plumbing and Heating in town (they sold and installed the system).Comment
Fair price, quick shipping I use the product to eliminate the iron in my waterComment
I use the product in my water treatment system at this house.Comment
Product "cleans" our well water. Works and costs pennies a day for the two of us. Much better than chlorine or a huge (algae, etc infested) aeration tank.Comment

What shelf life can be expected if temperature doesn't exceed 70 degrees? I still have 5 gallons of the stabilized h2o2 that are 2 years old, can it be used?
It is likely less than 50% of what it was, so double the injection rate.
Could I add this product to my softener brine tank to help my softener do a better job and also perhaps last a lot longer?
That would cause incredible damage!
I am looking for an additive to inject during regeneration of Katalox Light media. Could this be used?
Hydrogen Peroxide will not work with Katalox Light. In our experience Katalox is very unreliable. Our recommendation would be to replace the Katalox with Catalytic Carbon and use a hydrogen peroxide injection before the carbon filter.
I need to clean some filters that contain KDF and Centaur Carbon...looking for a product to use
Typically you use hydrogen peroxide to do that, but if the media is spent, you throw it away. You really can’t clean it.
What strength is the peroxide? I need to bleach bones.7% Concentration
Have a 27000 gallon water reservoir for a large dairy that provides pressure and volume at peak demand . Would like to treat this tank and lines periodically with a hydrogen peroxide additive. Do you have a product that would serve our needs and an application rate and frequency of treatment? Thanks ChrisPeroxide is a good oxidizer but not a good disinfectant. The best disinfectant would be chlorine.
