Made in China is Not How We Got Our Name

The Water Quality Association ("WQA") is seeking tariff exemptions for Chinese water treatment products that American Water Treatment Dealers are selling. I guess that is all well and good, but as the tariffs apply to US Water Systems, all I can tell you is that our name is US Water Systems, not China Water Systems, and we have been phasing out Chinese products for years. So, while most other Water Dealers, Big Box Stores and Online Retailers are selling you filters and filter housings made in China and fighting for that right, US Water has been busy developing "industry leading" products that are Made in USA, not China. What is amazing to us is that even in China, they prefer products made in the USA! Think about that one for a moment... To date, US Water Systems is now selling the following products online that are all Made in America:
- Pleated Sediment Filters
- Reverse Osmosis Membranes
- Gradient Density Depth Filters
- Carbon Block Filters
- Radial Flow Carbon Filters
- Reverse Osmosis Filter Packs
- Media Filters
- 4-1/2" x 10" and 4-1/2" x 20" Filter Housings
- Water Softener and Backwashing Filter Tanks

It may cost a little more, but it has about twice the carbon as the Asian one.

You mentioned that “…all Big Blues I know about are made overseas or in Mexico.” Does that mean your offered product “US Water Big Blue Double Filtration System 4.5 X 10” is made partly in China? The reason I ask is this: I would like to purchase this dual filter size factor, but with inlet/outlet size of 1" rather than 3/4". But I would ALSO prefer to avoid purchasing products made in China, if possible. If it came down to a choice, I suppose I’d pick your “US Water 4.5 × 10 Dual High Flow Filter System”, the one with the grey housing NOT made in China, even with the smaller inlet/outlet, but as long as the “Big Blue” system is made somewhere other than China, I’d rather go with the larger inlet/outlet size. What do you advise?

The Blue housings were sell are from Taiwan or China, but all of our grey and black housings are 100% American-Made. They are available in ¾ or 1” – They just are not yet on the website. Until they are, you will have to call in to order.
Do you have refrigerator replacement filters made in AMERICA?
Not yet, but we are planning to.
Do you make small filters for home water pitchers…if so what brand can I purchase?
No, we do not. We believe these filters are too small to be effective.
