The Most Efficient Water Softener in the World!

Several years ago, we set out to build a water softener that would be superior to any other technology on the market. Not just superior in some ways, but built better to work better, last longer and backed with a world-class guarantee. Oh, and we wanted it to be the most efficient softener on the planet, using up to 75% less salt and wasting up to 65% less water than any other system. It took a while, but the wait was worth it. Here it is!

You already know that you can buy lots of water softeners on the internet for around $500, but if you want the BEST, here is why there is only ONE, the FUSION NLT. The Rugged Fusion Control Valve & State-of-the Art Computer Electronics are built to Next Level Technology for efficiency, quality and longevity.

All water softeners use salt and produce waste water during regeneration, but what makes the Fusion NLT so environmentally friendly and amazingly different is that on city water, it uses much less salt and wastes dramatically less water than any water softener.  This is possible by utilizing several processes built into the Fusion that are Next Level Technology:

Next Level Technology Precision Demand Metering – Works on demand for precise measuring at the lowest flow rates as well as the highest flow rates. The precision meter regenerates the softener only when needed, and adjusts to any changes in water usage.  This assures you that the computer control will have all of the proper water usage information in order to operate at the highest efficiency.  It saves tremendous amounts of salt over conventional water softeners and insures that you never run out of soft water, while never wasting salt.

Next Level Technology Microprocessor Control – Acts as the command center to tell the system when to regenerate, how much salt to use, how much water to use and capture all historical water usage. Intuitive simple electronics with rotating large LED informational display and provides the data necessary for the most efficient systems optimization and efficiency.  It also gives solid data as to how much water is actually used in the household as well as flow rates and other intelligence, and allows full programmability for your water type.  The result is easy programming and no confusing codes.

Next Level Technology Upflow Brining – The most effective way to regenerate a water softener is upflow (or counter-current) brining which regenerates only the precise amount of resin needed to bring it back to a full charge.  No other technology uses as little salt as counter-current brining, so you save big dollars on salt.  Additionally, upflow brining provides softer water and  allows dramatically less waste water.  This is green technology which dramatically  eliminates salt and water waste.

Next Level Technology Soft Water Brine Tank Refill – Only puts the necessary amount of water back in the brine tank required to precisely regenerate the softener with only the amount of salt needed and refills with clean, soft water. FusionNLT_softener  Soft water refill prevent plugged injectors, which means zero service.  Less regeneration water is  required each regeneration, and it helps to keep the inside of the brine tank clean.

Next Level Technology Proportional Regeneration – Utilizes the computer information to regenerate only the resin that is contaminated with hardness. No more, no less.  This amazing technology allows the lowest possible salt usage, wastes less water and is the greenest technology available, being very sustainable for the environment.

Next Level Technology Horizontal Fleck-Style Piston – We took the time-proven Fleck horizontal piston and re-designed it with new cantilever technology that relives stress on the piston shaft which prematurely caused leaks. The Fusion NLT has just one moving part in the water stream.  I’m not a mathematical genius, but I think just one moving part means fewer problems.  The horizontal piston allows flow rates up to 27 GPM, and it has a 10-year warranty against defects and leaks.

The list of features and benefits built into this system is amazing and goes on and on.  It has a 12 volt low voltage electrical system that uses less than $2.00 of electricity a year and has a capacitor backup to keep the memory during power outages.   The tanks and resin (YES THE RESIN) have a lifetime warranty and it actually is the most efficient softener on the market.  Just compare and you will know why.  The Fusion NLT is available on our website and at dealers across the country.  Check it out – you will be amazed!  This is a game-changer for water softeners.

  1. I am very confused about whole-house water softener systems—sodium vs. potassium chloride—what capacity do I need—-should it only be hooked up to the hot water heater—will the sodium damage outside plants? I could go on and on. Every time I think I have found a reliable product, I find a lot of reviews describing a terrible experience with that product. We are remodeling a bathroom and we want to stop the calcium build-up on our fixtures and prevent stains in the toilets and on the shower curtains. Our water is moderately hard—124 mg/liter. We have 3 people living at the house (3.5 bathrooms). We have 2 hot water heaters, one for the house and one for the garage apartment. Your product seems very attractive but the absence of a track record makes me wary. Do you have any reviews? Also, we are not do-it-yourselfers. Does anyone sell and install your product in Houston, TX. I would appreciate any advice you could give me. Thank you.

  2. Karen,

Here’s a few things to consider:

    1. Potassium chloride is up to 5 times higher in cost than sodium, so I would not even consider it die to the cost/
    2. A reverse osmosis system removes the sodium and up to 40,000 other chemicals and contaminants for drinking and house plants.
    3. Most softeners have a bypass valve so that you can use hard water for major watering outside.
    4. In my case, I have my house plumbed so that I have hard water to the outside hydrants.
    5. Softening just the hot water is like putting one foot in ice water and the other in boiling water – just not very satisfying!
    6. Softening just the hot water leaves you with hard water in the shower and washer – a bad idea!
    7. Our Fusion NLT water softener is the latest and greatest
    8. The new one is even better. It is here:
    9. I would recommend the 53,000 grain model.
    10. Any plumber can install it – we have online tech support 7 days a week from 8 AM until 11 PM. It has (1) inlet; (2) outlet; and (3) drain. We have great installation videos and manuals.
    11. Here are more reviews on our company:
    12. We are not perfect, but we take care of our customers and resolve any problems.

  3. All of this is still unclear whether calcium is removed or remains in a “softer” form. What does REMOVE Calcium? My intention is to pretreat sea water for RO delalination, Hardness is not my priority, Salt removal is my priority. Intake water is direct sea water around a limestone based island in the Caribbean. Salt and calcium far exceed any other contaminants. We use the traditional sediment filters to 5 microns for feed water. I bought a used system which had a common water softener included, I question the good it does, but Im not an expert. We need desalinated water first for concrete construction, secondarily for potable water through another second stage, using the product water from the desalinator. I am currently relocating this system and trying to upgrade in the process. Whatever input you could provide would be appreciated.
Thank you for your no nonsense factual position contained in your information. There are a lot of misleading “experts” on the net. Mark

  4. Calcium is removed by ion exchange or reverse osmosis, but if you remove it with reverse osmosis it will “scale” the membrane quickly, rendering it useless. If you are talking “sea water” it takes special sea water membranes which are designed for water up to 40,000 ppm of TDS.

My no nonsense factual approach leads me to ask exactly what you are trying to do, because what you are talking about has “disaster” written all over it. You know just enough to be very dangerous. I say that with all due respect. Please e-mail or call me at or 800-608-8792.
