The US WATER HYDRO-CLEAN system is a fully automatic backwashing carbon filtration system. It uses all NSF and FDA approved components, including the granular activated carbon (GAC) and  catalytic absorbative carbon (CAC).  The electronic computer control cleans the CAC/GAC of accumulated contaminants while delivering clean, clear, fresh, chlorine and chloramine-free water throughout your home. It also reduces chemicals, trihalomethanes (THM's), pesticides, heavy metals, tastes and odors. The electronic control center is easy to set and once set, you never have to set it again (except for DST) due to it's lithium battery backup, which keeps the memory for up to 24 hours. The US WATER HYDRO-CLEAN system incorporates an automatic backwash which removes accumulated contaminants and automatically backwashes the filtration media.

There are several companies selling products on the internet for outlandish prices who claim that their systems effectively remove more contaminants from the water than anyone else - that is completely untrue!   A good backwashing carbon filter with the right blend of carbon is as good as it gets!

    1. Chlorine is gone

      I was concerned about chlorine on my skin and in the shower and was ready to purchase another brand, when I stumbled across your website. I was skeptical, because the Htdro-Clean was about half the price of another filter I was looking at, but I decided to try it and I just can't tell you how satisfied I am. The chlorine is GONE! Totally! And my skin feels wonderful.
