The technology explained
Limeblaster uses pre-programmed micro-chips to transmit pulses of electrical charge into the water at varying frequencies and amplitudes. These “signals” cause some of the salts in the water to form sub-microscopic clusters. When the water is then heated, the clusters act as nucleation seeds upon which the calcium carbonate (limescale) precipitates. Instead of the hard encrustation on pipes and heating elements that normally occurs when water is heated, the precipitation takes the form of tiny calcium carbonate crystals that float suspended in the water. Self-Diagnostic "Guard chip"
Every computer system is prone to malfunction, especially if there is a brownout in the power supply which can jam the program. Normally the system has to be reset by manually re-booting. Limeblaster units overcome this problem by an additional "Guard Chip" program which monitors the performance of the main program and resets the system automatically if it detects a variation or system failure. How is the Limeblaster Different From Other Electronic Water Devices
The Limeblaster operates using 40 volts of Alternating current (AC) at a tiny amperage. Many other electronic devices operate using a direct current (DC) pulsed signal with a relatively high amperage - something like 1 amp at 15 volts. They can generate a lot of heat in the process. They operate by creating a short lived DC spike that will stimulate corrosion big time. If there is any zinc in the system it will be quite effective as it will release zinc hydroxide as a nucleation seed. Once the zinc is all used up or when passivity sets in after a year or so, it will have very little effect on the scaling but it will continue to encourage corrosion - so keep a bucket handy. If there is copper piping in the system you can expect to see green scale from the copper carbonate. Some customers are quite impressed with the initial results but they won't be so impressed when they find their plumbing starts leaking and the scaling returns.  The Limeblaster  generates an alternating current so it causes no corrosion.

      I purchased 2 of the Limeblasters for 2 different houses. One worked well and the other one, not so well. You did give us 110% of our money back against a GreenWave system which is working very well. Thank you for telling it like it is and not engaging in the hyperbole other companies do.
