The GreenWave MEP Media provides protection from scale formation on internal and external plumbing surfaces. The Green Wave MEP cartridge prevents scale by transforming dissolved hardness minerals into harmless, inactive microscopic crystals. These crystals stay suspended in the water and are passed to the drain, greatly reducing the waters' ability to react negatively like dissolved hardness does. The Green Wave MEP adds nothing to the water - it simply neutralizes the hardness in it.- Scaling is prevented without the use of any chemicals.
