The John Guest PP Range of push-in fittings is fanufactured in white polypropylene with food grade EPDM o-rings and stainless steel "gripper" rings. Polypropylene Fittings have excellent chemical resisitance, cold endurance, and high tolerancce to oxidizers.They have been developed to satisfy the compatibility needs for a wide rage of applications, including:

Reverse osmosis and drinking water
Deionization and other ultrapure water applications
Foodservice and beverages

How Super Speedfit Fittings Work

To make a connection, the tube is simply pushed in by hand; the unique patented John Guest collet locking system then holds the tubing firmly in place without deforming it or restricting flow.
To disconnect, ensure that the system is depressurized, push the collet square against the fitting. With the collet held in this position the tube can be removed.
